Weaver's Black Heaven
Weavers
Black Heaven is a beautiful black stallion out of Ima Bit Of Heaven and Driftwoods Black Gem. We purchased
"Sam" as a foal at the Weaver Quarter Horse
sale in Great Falls, MT in 2001. Ima Bit Of Heaven is a Texas-bred cutting horse out of Smart Little Lena
and Peppy's From Heaven, a mare that
goes back to Peppy San Badger and Mr San Peppy. Both Smart Little Lena
and Peppy's From Heaven are proven bred cutting horses, and much of their athletic abilities were passed on to Ima
Bit Of Heaven. "Ima"
is a red-roan stallion standing 15 hands and weighing 1100 pounds. The Weavers use him on the ranch regularly as a
work horse, and feel he is one of
the most athletic horses they've ridden. "He's level headed and all business when riding or being used around
other horses. He's quick and agile with
extreme cow sense." He's just an outstanding stallion that delivers foals with a mind for cattle. Sam's mother,
Driftwood's Black Gem, is a Driftwood/Leo
San bred mare. .jpg)
We think Sam will be
outstanding in delivering foals that
know how to perform when you need to work cattle, whether it's in the arena or out on the range. Sam is at the ranch
and ready for you to come and see. Sam has been to Paul Griemsman for
heeling training and is ready for Robert to use him at team ropings for the 2008
season.
